Sponsoring

In 2005 Global Recycling sponsored a team participating in the RoPaRun called "Amis de Nathalie". The RopaRun (short for ROtterdam to PAris RUN) is the longest non-stop relay race in the world. The RopaRun is a truly unique running race which takes the teams through 3 countries; Holland, Belgium and France, covering a distance of approximately 530km. The RopaRun foundation and the participating running teams collect money to fund projects aimed at improving the quality of life of cancer patients. RopaRun 2005 collected 2.4 million euros, to which Amis de Nathalie contributed over 40,000 euros.

The spirit of the RopaRun is not only sporting but also humanitarian. Its unique goal is:

"Aiming to add to the days that remain, when no more days can be added to life".

In 2007 we sponsored a new artificial grass football pitch for Rotterdam Football & Cricket Club V.O.C.. 

In 2008 GRA sponsored the team "1 mind, 1 goal" a follow-up of the "Amis de Natalie" in its participation in the RoPaRun.

Also every year we are donating to several local charities.
